WALCH RITTBERG NAGEL provided legal counsel to the HAMBURG TEAM Group, in collaboration with Arrow Global Germany, on the sale of a high-quality residential building in Düsseldorf’s maxfrei district. The property, which comprises a total of 27 rental units and has a total leasable area of approximately 2,200 square meters, was acquired by a German family office.
The sold residential property is already completed and largely leased. The ground floor features a service point offering neighborhood-based services as well as a guest apartment, both of which are available to residents of the entire neighborhood. In the adjacent building complex, an Alnatura market complements the local retail offerings in the neighborhood and surrounding area.
The maxfrei neighborhood is being developed on a site of approximately 3.3 hectares in Düsseldorf-Derendorf and offers an attractive mix of residential, office, and retail space, as well as generous green spaces and open areas. In total, the project comprises approximately 530 apartments, about 16,500 square meters of office and commercial space, a daycare center, and space for local retail facilities. Construction began in 2021, and the neighborhood is expected to be fully completed shortly.
