WALCH RITTBERG NAGEL provided legal counsel to FOX Living, a subsidiary of FOX Real Estate, on the acquisition of a 3,328 m² plot of land in the Nordanger development area in Braunschweig-Nord.
The plot at Am Lampadiusring 3 is earmarked for the development of a new construction project comprising 185 apartments and complementary common areas. The concept is aimed specifically at students and trainees and encompasses a gross floor area of approximately 6,000 m². An underground parking garage and bicycle parking spaces are also planned. The building permit is expected in the first half of 2026; from today’s perspective, completion of the project appears possible by the end of 2027.
The location is particularly notable for its walking distance to the Technical University of Braunschweig, good local amenities, and convenient access to public transportation toward the city center and the main train station. The Nordanger development area is part of the “Nördliches Ringgebiet” development zone, where a total of approximately 1,700 residential units are to be built, including about 500 in the Nordanger neighborhood.
