WALCH RITTBERG NAGEL provided legal counsel to the project developer Townscape regarding the leasing of office space in THE B project at Revaler Straße 32 in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Lightspeed POS Germany GmbH became the first tenant to sign a lease for approximately 1,300 m² in the modern, sustainability-certified building.
THE B is a state-of-the-art office building with a total leasable area of approximately 22,000 m², spread across six floors with flexible floor plans—ranging from single offices to open-space solutions. The architecture is by Eike Becker Architekten and combines loft-like structures with a striking façade design. The building meets the highest ESG standards, holds DGNB Gold pre-certification, and has received WiredScore Platinum certification for its digital infrastructure. Further leasing discussions with potential tenants are currently underway.
THE B combines modern office amenities with a sustainable energy concept. The building meets the Efficiency House 55 standard and is supplied via Berlin’s district heating network, supplemented by an on-site photovoltaic system. A green courtyard with dining options and a roughly 700 m² rooftop terrace offering views of the Berlin skyline ensure a high quality of stay.
As part of the transaction, WALCH RITTBERG NAGEL provided comprehensive legal advice to Townscape and supported the structuring and execution of the lease agreement.
